Lee Hwi-jae Returns to TV After 4 Years on 'Immortal Songs' Special

Lee Hwi-jae, a well-known broadcaster, is making his television comeback after four years on KBS2's 'Immortal Songs'.

The 749th episode of 'Immortal Songs', airing on the 28th, is themed '2026 Entertainment King Battle'. This special episode features multi-talented entertainers from the entertainment industry who have officially released albums or singles, showcasing the grandeur of the entertainment king battle. The lineup includes Kim Shin-young & Chun Dan-bi, Lalal, Moon Se-yoon, the 'Chatflix' team from Gag Concert, Park Jun-hyung, the musical 'Hague' team with Song Il-gook & Oh Man-seok, Lee Chan-seok, Lee Hwi-jae, Jo Hye-ryun, and Hong Seok-cheon, bringing together comedians, actors, and creators in a total of 10 teams.

The talk waiting room was buzzing with excitement as these multi-talented entertainers gathered in one place. Lee Chan-won expressed his admiration for the participants who introduced themselves with various catchphrases and dances. Park Sung-kwang from the 'Chatflix' team confidently declared, "We will cause a sensation," while Park Jun-hyung added, "I have a secret weapon today. Additionally, the musical 'Hague' team with Song Il-gook & Oh Man-seok will perform Cho Yong-pil's 'Dream', Lee Chan-seok will sing Woo Yeon's 'By Chance', Lee Hwi-jae will cover Choi Ho-seop's 'As Time Goes By', Jo Hye-ryun will perform Im Hee-sook's 'My Only Person is Leaving', and Hong Seok-cheon will sing Ailee's 'I Will Show You', presenting unique and captivating performances.
