Yook Sungjae Reveals Grueling Drama Filming Schedule on 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3'
On the 27th episode of MBN and Channel S's 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 3', Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube (Kwak Jun-bin) embarked on a culinary trip in Yongin with BTOB's Seo Eunkwang and Yook Sungjae, known as the 'sons of Yongin'. They visited famous spots among celebrities, including a renowned Cheonggukjang restaurant, Yook Sungjae's mother's favorite acorn jelly noodle place, and the original Nurungji Baeksuk restaurant from the 'Seo Eunkwang Plan'.
Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube kicked off their 'first meal in Yongin' at a 45-year-old Cheonggukjang restaurant. Upon entering and seeing the walls covered with celebrity autographs, Jeon Hyun-moo humorously remarked, "Everyone's been here except me." After tasting the Cheonggukjang, he exclaimed, "Why am I only discovering this place now?" After their meal, they met with their 'foodie friends' Seo Eunkwang and Yook Sungjae. Yook Sungjae shared, "I lived in Yongin from age 8 to 15. My parents still reside in Suji-gu." Seo Eunkwang added, "I'm a native of Yongin and served as an ambassador for five years," exuding pride.
The conversation naturally shifted to a 'Yongin restaurant showdown' between the two. Yook Sungjae recommended an acorn specialty restaurant, saying, "If Chef An Sungjae has acorn noodles, I have acorn jelly soup." Seo Eunkwang countered with, "There's a Budae Jjigae place known to everyone in Cheoin-gu. It's my number one!" Seo Eunkwang even conducted a 'citizen interview', but the citizen humorously responded, "I don't think I've heard of that place," causing laughter.
Amidst the lively banter, Jeon Hyun-moo inquired, "When did you discover the restaurant we're heading to?" Yook Sungjae humorously replied, "I've never been there either," causing laughter. He then clarified, "It's a place my mom brings takeout from," and called his mother. Jeon Hyun-moo asked her, "What kind of son is he at home?" She replied, "He's a very grateful son, always doing his duties without causing worry," bringing a smile. Yook Sungjae expressed, "This is the first time I'm having such a conversation with my mom," feeling touched.
Upon arriving at the acorn specialty restaurant, they sampled the refreshing young radish kimchi, impressing everyone. Jeon Hyun-moo generously gifted a box of young radish kimchi to all cast and staff, creating a warm atmosphere. They enjoyed a full acorn course, including sprout salad, jelly soup, and noodle platter. Jeon Hyun-moo praised, "This could become a representative local dish of Yongin." As the 'Yook Sungjae Plan' concluded with satisfaction, Seo Eunkwang immediately initiated the 'Seo Eunkwang Plan' with "Next is 'Nurungji Baeksuk'."
During the journey, Jeon Hyun-moo asked, "Who does Yook Sungjae consider BTOB's main vocalist?" Yook Sungjae candidly answered, "The real main vocalist is (Lee) Changsub." However, Seo Eunkwang humorously insisted, "I think I'm much better now," causing laughter. At the original 'Nurungji Baeksuk' restaurant, the four marveled at the tender chicken and rich nurungji combination.
Towards the end of the meal, Jeon Hyun-moo shifted the topic, "Aren't you the senior at music shows these days?" Yook Sungjae laughed, "It feels like they treat us as elders." Jeon Hyun-moo jokingly added, "Soon they'll say, 'My mom's a fan.'" Finally, the four sang BTOB's new song arm-in-arm, wrapping up their Yongin food trip warmly. The preview teased Jeon Hyun-moo and Kwak Tube's attempt to revisit a failed booking memory in Cheongju.
