Comedian Park Se-mi Opens Up About Her Desire for Marriage and Motherhood
Comedian Park Se-mi, known for her character 'Seo-jun's Mom,' has expressed her strong desire for marriage and motherhood.

In a recent appearance on the YouTube show 'New Woman' on the 24th, Park Se-mi shared, “I really want to get pregnant. I checked my ovarian age, and it came out as 24.” She added, “When I see children, I don't just find them cute; I think, 'I wish that child were mine.'”

Her candid confession naturally led to a discussion about marriage. Born in 1990, Park Se-mi is 36 years old and desires both marriage and children, while also being ambitious about her career.

Park Se-mi mentioned, “I'm still a rookie. When work comes in, I have to paddle hard, and I think I might have to be more selective with my work.” In response, Jo Hye-ryun advised, “You shouldn't miss the timing with your body. When the time comes, you'll know, so don't worry too much.” Lee Kyung-sil added, “(Kim) Ji-sun worked until three days before giving birth. I returned to work four weeks after having a baby,” surprising Park Se-mi.

Park Se-mi described her ideal husband as “a kind man who can co-parent,” adding, “It's my dream to raise a child with my husband.” Lee Kyung-sil advised, “He should be kind and considerate, but he must have his own financial stability.” When Park Se-mi asked about someone from a good family background, Lee Kyung-sil firmly stated, “He should have his own job; I don't recommend someone like that.”

Jo Hye-ryun also commented on Park Se-mi's ideal partner, saying, “He should be kind not only to me and my family but also to others. He should treat people well and take care of himself.”

During the show, Park Se-mi also revealed that she recently had a nose job and shared stories about losing 20kg in her mid-20s to become a comedian, as well as the backstory of her 'Seo-jun's Mom' character.

Additionally, she humorously mentioned imagining marrying her close friend Lee Sun-min, saying, “I thought we could appear on shows like 'Same Bed, Different Dreams' or 'The Return of Superman' because of money, but I gave up because I don't think I could handle the physical affection,” leaving Lee Sun-min flustered.
