Han Dong-hee Leaves a Lasting Impression in Drama 'Climax'
The ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Climax' tells the story of prosecutor Bang Tae-seop (played by Joo Ji-hoon) who dives into a cartel to seize the highest power in South Korea, and the intense survival stories of those around him. In the drama, Han Dong-hee plays the role of Han Ji-soo, a close colleague of Choo Sang-ah (played by Ha Ji-won).
In episodes 3 and 4, Han Ji-soo is depicted as being pushed to the edge, facing unexpected bed scene demands and pressure from her agency's CEO Oh Kwang-jae (played by Seo Hyun-woo). Fortunately, with the appearance of Choo Sang-ah, she escapes the crisis but is gripped by anxiety over possibly not being able to continue her work. However, she finds solace in Choo Sang-ah's comfort, revealing a deep reliance on her. It is later revealed that their relationship is more profound than just a simple senior-junior connection.
Han Dong-hee vividly portrays the fear felt by a character sacrificed before power with desperate eyes and pitiful tears. Previously, in 'Mantis: The Murderer's Outing', she showcased a multifaceted performance with a face that alternated between warmth and chill. In 'Climax', she once again proves her solid acting skills by vividly expressing the instinctive struggle of a victim in extreme situations.
Anticipation builds for what charm she will display in her next project, the TVING original drama 'Becoming a Legend as a Cook', set to be released in May.
