Park Min-young Returns to Talk Shows After 20 Years: Here's Why
Actress Park Min-young, 40, has revealed why she is appearing on a talk show for the first time in 20 years.

On the 24th, the 132nd episode of the YouTube web variety show TEO 'Salon Drip' was released, featuring a video titled 'Riding the Salon's Breeze: Park Min-young and Wi Ha-jun Set Sail!' In this episode, Park Min-young and Wi Ha-jun, stars of the tvN weekend drama 'Siren,' appeared as guests.

Park Min-young mentioned that it has been 20 years since she last appeared on a talk show, stating, "I've only done three talk shows for 'Siren' promotions, and that's it." She explained her absence from variety shows, saying, "I avoided them because I was concerned that seeing my true self might make it difficult for viewers to immerse themselves in my roles. However, given the current times, I decided to participate."

Jang Do-yeon commented on Park Min-young's impression, saying, "I've seen various works, but her debut was the most memorable. 'High Kick!' and 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' were so strong that she seemed like she would be very sharp and meticulous."

In response, Park Min-young said, "That's not the case at all," and Wi Ha-jun added, "She's surprisingly quirky and has a unique personality."

Park Min-young shared, "I'm not a perfectionist in everyday life, but I become somewhat like that when working. Now that filming is over, I'm more relaxed." When Jang Do-yeon remarked, "You seem to have a certain aura," Park Min-young humorously replied, "I hear that a lot. It's called charisma," eliciting laughter.
