K-Pop Star Park Ji-hyun Opens Up About Breakups and Celebrates 3rd Anniversary
On the 23rd, Park Ji-hyun appeared on MBC FM4U's 'Noon Song of Hope with Kim Shin-young' to discuss her recent activities and behind-the-scenes stories.
Park Ji-hyun kicked off the show by celebrating her 3rd debut anniversary, which she marked a week ago. She is actively promoting her first full-length album 'MASTER VOICE' and recently took on the role of MC for MBN's 'K-Trot Chart.' She shared, "Explaining the flow of trot music or songs isn't difficult, but speaking in standard Korean according to the script is the hardest part." She humorously asked Kim Shin-young, who is adept at using dialects, "Do you commute from Jeolla-do?" bringing laughter to the studio.
The conversation then turned to her first full-length album. Park Ji-hyun expressed, "I wanted to capture many people's lives," and added, "I wanted to express various emotions and poignant moments on stage." She continued, "Since it's my first full-length album, I put a lot of thought and investment into the stage, and I think it was a good choice," showing her satisfaction.
In response to a listener's story about the worst breakup, Park Ji-hyun shared, "When you listen to the songs, you think of your first love. Between ghosting and rebound breakups, ghosting is worse. At least a rebound has closure, but ghosting leaves you waiting in vain," resonating with the audience.
She also expressed her anticipation for the upcoming nationwide tour 'Showmanship Season 2' in April. Park Ji-hyun stated, "After 'Showmanship Season 1,' the expectations have risen, and I'm preparing even harder," confidently adding, "Really look forward to it."
