Actors Yoon Ki-won and Comedian Lee Young-jae Reunite After 30 Years on YouTube Show 'Jodongari'

Actors Yoon Ki-won and comedian Lee Young-jae made a memorable appearance on the YouTube channel 'Jodongari' on the 22nd, reuniting after 30 years to clear up past misunderstandings and engage in heartfelt conversations.

On the 22nd, a video titled 'Dramatic Reconciliation After 30 Years: KBS 7th Class Lee Young-jae and Yoon Ki-won' was uploaded to the 'Jodongari' channel. Both Yoon Ki-won and Lee Young-jae appeared as guests, joining hosts Ji Seok-jin, Kim Yong-man, and Kim Soo-yong, all of whom share the commonality of being 'KBS 7th Class Comedians.' Yoon Ki-won captivated everyone with his entrance, playing the recorder. Despite being seated next to comedian Lee Young-jae, Yoon Ki-won appeared visibly nervous, unable to make eye contact.

The tension stemmed from Yoon Ki-won's previous appearance on 'Jodongari' with Choi Seung-kyung, where he confessed, "Whenever I saw Jae-seok, he was always kind, but with Young-jae, it felt like he was out to get me. We had a love-hate relationship, and I didn't particularly want to see him." Lee Young-jae humorously responded, "Thanks to you making me the villain, I'm grateful. Isn't it because of you that I'm on 'Jodongari'?" Yoon Ki-won quickly shifted his stance, saying, "Young-jae hyung was always a bit of a love-hate figure, giving me advice in a cute way," eliciting laughter. Lee Young-jae also clarified the claim that he disliked Yoon Ki-won and favored Yoo Jae-seok, which Yoon Ki-won accepted, resolving their long-standing misunderstanding.

As they chatted over drinks, Ji Seok-jin remarked, "This is the first time soju glasses have made an appearance," marveling at the scene. Kim Yong-man added, "It's a day for the two of you to talk (with the help of alcohol)," hoping for a closer bond between Lee Young-jae and Yoon Ki-won. Lee Young-jae expressed his affection, saying, "I rarely drink soju, maybe once a year, but I'm drinking because Ki-won is here." Yoon Ki-won acknowledged, "The 7th class doesn't drink much. Yong-man hyung, Nam Hee-seok, Yoo Jae-seok, Choi Seung-kyung, none of them drank. Park Soo-hong never drank, which is why he still has such great skin."

Meanwhile, Yoon Ki-won shared exciting news about his role in the upcoming film 'Cheong-eo,' set to be released in the second half of 2026. He revealed, "I'm playing a local gangster from Yeongdeok, Gyeongbuk. I've been practicing the dialect, and my wife, who's from Busan, has been helping me by reading lines in the Busan dialect." Yoon Ki-won, who is married to a professor of modeling 11 years his junior, received praise for his dialect skills from Lee Young-jae, who hails from Gyeongnam. Additionally, Yoon Ki-won fulfilled a bucket list dream by releasing an album of his original song from the 1991 River Music Festival, gifting it to his older friends and moving them. After spending a joyful time with his friends, Yoon Ki-won expressed gratitude to 'Jodongari,' saying, "Seeing them for the second time is even more delightful. I hope to meet often and share more in the future."
