Comedian Oh Ji-heon Sets Up a Blind Date for His Father on 'Joseon's Matchmaker'

Comedian Oh Ji-heon, who has been married for 18 years, is arranging a blind date for his father who lives alone.

In a preview clip of TV Chosun's variety show 'Joseon's Matchmaker,' airing on the evening of the 23rd, Oh Ji-heon, who joins the ranks of the comedic 'Haeju Oh clan' alongside Oh Jung-tae and Oh Na-mi, makes a surprising announcement. He reveals, "This opportunity is for my dad's blind date," causing a stir. Oh Ji-heon expresses admiration for Oh Jung-tae, who helped find a date for his father, saying, "My dad is alone, so we need to find someone for him, and Jung-tae hyung did it." Oh Jung-tae teases, "You owe me a meal. She's amazing," hinting at the exceptional woman he has found for the date.

Oh Jung-tae describes the woman as "still looking like a high school student" and notes that Oh Ji-heon's father prefers beautiful women. He adds, "I fell for her at first sight," and shares a photo of the date candidate with Oh Na-mi, who reacts enthusiastically. Oh Ji-heon grows anxious and, upon seeing the woman's bold swimsuit photo, remarks, "She might be a bit too much for my dad." Oh Jung-tae adds intrigue by mentioning, "She's never been married," sparking curiosity about her identity.

In an interview with the production team, the woman reveals, "I've lived with my mom for 40 years," and shares her intention to dedicate the same care she gave her mother to a new relationship.
