Premiering on April 18, JTBC's new weekend drama 'Fighting Against Worthlessness' (directed by Cha Young-hoon, written by Park Hae-young, produced by Studio Phoenix, SLL, and Studio Flow) follows the journey of a person driven mad by jealousy and envy among successful friends, as they seek peace.

The synergy between Hwang Dong-man (played by Koo Kyo-hwan), who has been dreaming of debuting as a film director for 20 years while battling worthlessness, and film PD Byun Eun-ah (played by Go Youn-jung), who recognizes his sincerity and value with her keen eye for scripts, is one of the key highlights of the show. However, there is someone who feels threatened by Byun Eun-ah—Choi Dong-hyun (played by Choi Won-young), the head of Choi Film where she works.

Byun Eun-ah is a self-made figure who joined the company as a temporary office assistant after high school and worked her way up to a full-time PD.
