Channel A's 'Birth of a Health Master': A Shocking High Blood Pressure Case and a Simple Solution
Yoo Min-sang expresses astonishment at the story of a contestant diagnosed with high blood pressure on 'Birth of a Health Master.' He is also surprised by a simple solution for managing cerebrovascular health.

Airing on the evening of the 17th at 8 PM, Channel A's 'Birth of a Health Master' features a contestant in their 50s who suffers from uncontrollable blood pressure and recurring headaches despite medication.

The contestant, who visited 'Birth of a Health Master,' shares that after being diagnosed with high blood pressure, they tried to manage it on their own due to the belief that starting medication means lifelong consumption. However, they eventually began taking medication, but their blood pressure remained high, and headaches persisted. The contestant's family history is concerning, with their father having passed away from a stroke, their mother from a cerebral hemorrhage, and their sister having experienced a cerebral aneurysm rupture.

Upon examining the contestant's vascular health, it was revealed that their vascular age is in the mid-60s, older than their actual age, and their blood vessels are rigid. Shockingly, the contestant's brain MRI showed traces of blocked microvessels. If high blood pressure damages and blocks microvessels, it can lead to vascular dementia. Damaged microvessels can leave permanent traces and increase the risk of severe disability or death.

In response, Jung Jin-young, the health master maker, proposes the 'Brain Power UP! Project' to manage the contestant's blocked brain vessels and revive brain function. The 'K-Mediterranean Diet,' a Korean reinterpretation of the Mediterranean diet, impresses MC Yoo Min-sang with its simplicity, as he remarks, "Is it really that easy?"

Will the contestant be able to restore their deteriorated cerebrovascular health? Find out on Channel A's 'Birth of a Health Master' at 8 PM on the 17th.
