Actor Kim Hyung-mook is captivating audiences in the weekend drama 'Prescription for Love,' starring Jin Se-yeon and Park Ki-woong. Previously, Kim left a strong impression on viewers as Oh Deok-kyu in the recently concluded tvN drama 'Undercover Miss Hong,' led by Park Shin-hye.

In episodes 13 and 14 of KBS2's weekend drama 'Prescription for Love,' aired on the 14th and 15th, Kim Hyung-mook portrays Yang Dong-ik, the head of Yangjibareun Oriental Clinic. In episode 13, Yang Dong-ik secretly meets Han Seong-mi (played by Yoo Ho-jung) to prevent the Gong family's move, unbeknownst to his wife Cha Se-ri (played by So Yi-hyun). He presents a 'Devotion Pledge' signed with Gong Jeong-han (played by Kim Seung-soo) in a bid to persuade her, but this encounter is witnessed by Cha Se-ri, leading to a crisis.

Cha Se-ri confronts Han Seong-mi, demanding to know what was discussed with her husband. Han Seong-mi reveals the 'Devotion Pledge,' exposing that the entire family, excluding Cha Se-ri, conspired to prevent the Gong family from moving.

Feeling betrayed, Cha Se-ri leaves home, saying, "Am I not family?" This throws the Yang family into chaos. While searching for his wife, Yang Dong-ik encounters Gong Jeong-han and blames him for the situation, saying, "It's because you changed your mind without conviction." Kim Hyung-mook elevates the drama's intensity with his portrayal of a man torn between anger at Gong Jeong-han and despair over Cha Se-ri's absence.

In episode 14, Yang Dong-ik shows a complete transformation as a 'repentant husband.' He regrets his past indifference, shedding tears and realizing the importance of his wife, who has quietly managed family affairs. To win back Cha Se-ri's heart, Yang Dong-ik prepares a surprise event. He offers a heartfelt apology by serenading her with a romantic song while holding roses. Kim Hyung-mook brings warmth to the character, portraying him as a pure-hearted romantic.

Meanwhile, 'Prescription for Love' airs every Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM.
