Shocking Revelations: Groom-to-Be's Unusual Bond with Mother-in-Law Unveiled on 'Detectives' Secrets'
Channel A's 'Detectives' Secrets' recently aired a shocking story about a groom-to-be and his mother-in-law sharing a bed and secretly going on couple trips together.

On the episode aired on the 16th, the segment 'Detective 24 Hours' fulfilled a terminal cancer patient's desperate wish to find his younger sibling who had disappeared 14 years ago. The main character, Mr. Koo Chul-hoe, was diagnosed with stage 4 liver and stomach cancer and was given only 2-3 months to live by his doctors. The Owl Detective Team first visited the hometown of the younger sibling's husband but only learned that he had lost contact after moving to the city.

The detectives then tracked down the husband's recent location through his social media and, with the help of local residents, managed to contact him. Initially, he distanced himself, saying, "They are strangers to me now," but upon hearing about Mr. Koo's critical condition, he agreed to contact his wife.

Soon after, the younger sibling rushed to meet the detectives and finally reunited with her brother after 14 years. Mr. Koo immediately recognized her and revealed that he had stayed at their hometown, hoping she would return. The younger sibling, overwhelmed with emotion, explained that she hadn't visited due to her son's troubles, not out of resentment.

Mr. Koo comforted her, saying, "Don't cry, my dear sister..." and expressed that his wish had been fulfilled. She promised to visit again the next day. For the following days, she visited her brother daily, sharing untold stories, until Mr. Koo peacefully passed away surrounded by family. Actress Yoo In-na expressed relief at their reunion, and Defconn shared in the tears, noting that Mr. Koo seemed to have found peace.

In the 'Case Notebook' segment, featuring 'Goddess of Chinese Cuisine' Park Eun-young as a guest detective, a bride-to-be requested an investigation into her fiancé's suspiciously close relationship with his mother. The client had fallen for her fiancé's kindness while he worked as a hospital administrative staff during her father's hospitalization. The couple was preparing for marriage, but the fiancé's unusually close bond with his mother, including shopping for her clothes and being overly concerned about her exposure, raised concerns.

The situation escalated when the fiancé brought his mother on a couple's trip without informing his fiancée. He reacted aggressively to his mother's dating stories and even checked her phone. The client was shocked to find them sleeping in each other's arms.

The detectives uncovered more disturbing details: the fiancé had lied about attending a relative's wedding and had gone on a couple's trip with his mother. Their playful behavior at the pool resembled that of a long-time couple. The client, upon discovering this, visited the fiancé's home, which was filled with couple pajamas and photos, resembling a honeymoon suite.

It was revealed that they shared a bed, and when questioned about the trip, the fiancé claimed it was a "farewell trip," leaving everyone in disbelief. Defconn expressed outrage, questioning the logic of a "farewell trip" with one's mother, while Park Eun-young speculated that they might not be biological mother and son. This led to a humorous exchange with another celebrity chef, Jung Ho-young.

The investigation revealed that the mother and son had fled from domestic violence and relied on each other for survival. The mother worked various jobs to support them, but her relationships always ended poorly. The fiancé admitted that he initially approached the client for insurance purposes but eventually fell in love. However, the client chose to end the relationship, and Park Eun-young criticized the fiancé's behavior as untrustworthy.

Channel A's 'Detectives' Secrets' airs every Monday at 10 PM.
