Ji Ye-eun Shares Heartfelt Bond with Lee Soo-ji on SBS Show

Ji Ye-eun showcased her strong bond with Lee Soo-ji.

On the October 16th episode of SBS's variety show 'But Seriously!', actors Jung Sang-hoon and Ji Ye-eun appeared as guests.

During the show, Ji Ye-eun expressed her frustration over a news article that claimed she cried out of jealousy when Lee Soo-ji won an award at the Baeksang Arts Awards. She clarified, "I knew I wouldn't win, it wasn't even close. I feel like crying even now." When asked why she attended the event knowing she wouldn't win, Ji Ye-eun confessed, "I wanted to go because I had never been there before."

Ji Ye-eun spoke about Lee Soo-ji, saying, "While she was on 'SNL', she was a victim of a rental scam involving 400 million won. At first, I thought she was joking. She would leave during lunch and come back, and I thought she was sneaking off to eat. But she said, 'I went to the district office because of the rental scam,' and it turned out to be true. Knowing she couldn't even eat during lunch breaks, I realized how tough it was for her. That's why I was so happy when Soo-ji won the award."

Lee Soo-ji recalled that Ji Ye-eun once offered to lend her money, saying, "I asked how much she could lend, and she said 1.2 million won." Ji Ye-eun explained, "I had 3 million won at the time. It was all I had. I had just started working, and I didn't mind giving that money to her."

When asked how much she would lend now, Ji Ye-eun joked, "Soo-ji has a lot of money now. I see her ads everywhere. I think she's raking it in."
