MC Kim Gura Shares Divorce Experience on 'X's Private Life'

MC Kim Gura opens up about his own divorce experience while observing the private life of '3-year divorcee' Park Jae-hyun.

The first episode of TV CHOSUN's variety show 'X's Private Life', airing on the 17th, features actress Park Jae-hyun's '16 years younger' ex-wife, Han Hye-joo, in the studio. She joins MCs Kim Gura, Jang Yoon-jung, Cheon Rok-dam, and Jung Kyung-mi for an open-hearted discussion while observing Park Jae-hyun's private life.

This prompts 'remarried man' Kim Gura to exclaim, "Hey, I loved too, but circumstances led to divorce!" causing laughter in the studio.

Han Hye-joo then introduces herself calmly, "I'm the ex-wife of an X who's been divorced for three years. My X was in the entertainment industry." As the VCR shows Park Jae-hyun, Jang Yoon-jung exclaims, "Oh? The one known as the 'Jang Dong-gun of Surprise'!" Park Jae-hyun reveals, "I met my ex-wife, who was 25 in 2017, and we married six months later due to a shotgun wedding. We started fighting soon after marriage. I gave up everything for my family," shocking everyone. He continues, "At the time, my appearance fee for 'Surprise' was less than 400,000 won. My monthly income was 1.5 million won, and I had to give up acting due to financial issues," evoking sympathy.

He further shares, "My daughter had heart surgery four times by the age of five," making the studio somber. He cautiously reveals, "I suggested living with my parents before my daughter's last surgery," leading to the divorce story. However, Jang Yoon-jung suddenly asks, "Wait! Why is there such an obsession with breakfast?" Kim Gura explains, "Breakfast is just an excuse," interpreting from a male perspective. This leads to a debate about the differing views on 'breakfast' between men and women. Han Hye-joo intriguingly comments, "I have so much to say while watching (Park Jae-hyun's private life)," heightening curiosity.
