Love Triangle Intensifies in 'Efficient Meeting of Singles' Amid Scandalous Rumors
In the sixth episode of JTBC's weekend drama 'Efficient Meeting of Singles,' aired on the 15th, Song Tae-seop (played by Park Sung-hoon) and Shin Ji-soo (played by Lee Ki-taek) both vie for Lee Yi-young's (played by Han Ji-min) affection, igniting a love triangle. The episode garnered a viewership rating of 4.6% in the metropolitan area and 4.5% nationwide, with a peak rating of 5.1% in the metropolitan area, according to Nielsen Korea's paid household data.
Previously, Shin Ji-soo found a drunken Lee Yi-young and Song Tae-seop on the street and took them to a hotel room, staying up all night to prevent any mishaps. Sensing Shin Ji-soo's intentions, Song Tae-seop warned him to stop meddling, intensifying their rivalry.
Determined to erase the drunken incident from Lee Yi-young's memory, Song Tae-seop meticulously planned a date, considering everything from a timetable to attire to win her heart.
Facing a potentially failed date, Song Tae-seop suggested watching a movie at his place, adding, "I don't want to postpone things anymore," which added excitement. At his home, they enjoyed a sweet home date, growing closer.
Meanwhile, Shin Ji-soo's bold moves also stirred Lee Yi-young's heart. He casually suggested dinner after meeting her at a cafe and wiped sauce off her lips during the meal, raising her heartbeat.
When Lee Yi-young defensively mentioned the potential for misunderstanding, Shin Ji-soo countered with a straightforward confession, "It might not be a misunderstanding," and added, "I've found you interesting since we first met," causing a significant impact on her.
Later, Lee Yi-young, tasked with delivering flowers to a theater for Son Jung-ah, discovered that the recipient was none other than Shin Ji-soo, raising suspicions. With rumors of sponsorship surrounding Son Jung-ah, the connection between her and Shin Ji-soo became even more intriguing.
