Park also spoke openly about the trauma that still intrudes on her daily life.

When Kim Young-ok cautiously asked, "Didn't your only son pass away while you were filming the drama 'Pearl Necklace'?" Park replied, "It's not about having only one; even if there were ten, it would be the same," conveying that the weight of losing a child is immeasurable.

Kim Young-ok empathized, saying, "They say children are buried in the heart," and shared her own feelings of grief. She added, "It's different from parents. I try not to forget by taking out photos of my parents' younger days and greeting them, feeling like I'm going crazy or possessed, but I live like that for fun," evoking a sense of poignancy.

Park had previously revealed on KBS2's 'Park Won-sook's Living Together' that "It might be because of the accident my son had. Unexpected accidents make me anxious."

She further confessed, "I feel like I haven't received true healing, as if the wound is still festering," expressing the enduring pain of a wound that hasn't healed even after more than 20 years.

Park Won-sook tragically lost her only son in a car accident in November 2003.
