Lee Hyori Reflects on Her First Meeting with Lee Sang-soon on 'Mongle Counseling Center'

On the latest episode of SBS's 'Mongle Counseling Center,' Lee Hyori reminisced about her less-than-stellar first meeting with her husband, Lee Sang-soon.

Aired on the 15th, the show featured the 'counseling directors' Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon as they met with young adults with developmental disabilities, referred to as 'Mongle-ssi,' who are dreaming of love.

Previously, 'Mongle-ssi' members Oh Ji-hyun, Yoo Ji-hoon, and Jung Ji-won went on their first-ever blind dates. Lee Hyori shared, "Was the blind date fun? We also met through a blind date," revealing a personal connection.

Reflecting on her own experience, Lee Hyori admitted, "Honestly, I wasn't impressed on the day of the blind date. Neither of us was really into it." She continued, "We didn't see each other for a year after that, but then we met again by chance and started dating. Even if a blind date doesn't go well, things can change later on."

Oh Ji-hyun expressed curiosity about romantic feelings, asking, "Is it true that when you're in a relationship, you find the person so lovely that you can't see anyone else?" Lee Hyori candidly replied, "You might notice more attractive people." This prompted Lee Sang-soon to jokingly ask, "Are you holding back your feelings?" causing Lee Hyori to be momentarily flustered.

Lee Hyori clarified, "I might think 'that person is really handsome,' but the one who truly captures my heart is just one person," expressing her affection for Lee Sang-soon. Oh Ji-hyun admired her, calling her a "complete romantic." To Oh Ji-hyun's curiosity about love, Lee Hyori explained, "It's hard to describe in words. When you lie down at night, you keep thinking about them. When you eat something delicious, you think, 'They would love this too.'" She encouraged them, saying, "You'll meet someone soon."
