Korean Actor Kim Eui-sung Reveals 15-Year Relationship Secrets on 'My Ugly Duckling'

Korean actor Kim Eui-sung, 60, has revealed that he has been in a relationship for 15 years.

On the October 15th episode of SBS's variety show 'My Ugly Duckling,' viewers saw Bae Yoo-ram from the drama 'Taxi Driver' meeting with Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin, and Jang Hyuk-jin.

During the show, Kim Eui-sung, who is divorced, was asked about the secret to his long-term relationship. He humorously replied, "Maybe it's about thinking you're dead and just staying still. You have to endure somehow."

Kim further shared, "I recommend meeting someone when you're older. My girlfriend is two years younger than me. We met in our mid-40s. It's good when we argue. When you're young, you fight over trivial things, but now we know what we've fought about before. It's not about why we fight, but the hurtful words said during the fight that matter."

Regarding why he hasn't married, Kim Eui-sung explained, "When we first started dating, we fought because I said I wouldn't get married. My girlfriend's dream was to have a good family. We are practically like a family now. There are some inconveniences, and I'm considering it because legally, if one of us gets sick or older, it could become problematic."

When Bae Yoo-ram asked if Kim could officiate his wedding, Kim expressed concern, saying, "I'm at the age to officiate weddings, but I've been divorced twice." Bae Yoo-ram responded, "Is there a law that says you can't officiate if you've been divorced twice?" and asked him to consider it.
