Yoo Yeon-seok recently shared a humorous anecdote about why his pet dog won't be appearing in his latest project.

The press conference for SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Shin-Irang Law Office' was held on the afternoon of the 11th at the SBS headquarters in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Hosted by Park Kyung-lim, the event was attended by director Shin Jung-hoon and actors Yoo Yeon-seok, Lee Som, and Kim Kyung-nam. 'Shin-Irang' is a unique and heartwarming adventure that follows 'possessed lawyer' Shin-Irang, who resolves the grudges of the deceased, and 'cold-blooded elite lawyer' Han Na-hyun, who is determined to win at all costs.

Yoo Yeon-seok plays the role of lawyer Shin-Irang, who starts a law office in a former shaman's house and unexpectedly begins to see ghosts. Reflecting on his previous work in MBC's 'The Call You Are Making Now', where he appeared with his pet dog Rita, he humorously recalled, "The waiting time was longer than expected. We arrived early on set, but the actual filming took place at sunset. Rita gave an outstanding performance, but only her back was shown on TV," he laughed.

He continued, "This time, she refused to appear. She said she couldn't work under such conditions. The director suggested a cameo since there was a scene involving a dog, but we couldn't cast her in the end. I'll try to give her another chance in the next project," he added, bringing laughter to the audience.

Regarding his acting process for this drama, he explained, "I observed the gestures, habits, and unique traits of the actors playing ghosts in each episode. I discussed these connections with the director to create a believable portrayal. Even a single cue would indicate that the character is not Irang but possessed. The actors playing ghosts would often demonstrate the performance during rehearsals. I practiced by listening to their recordings and observing them on set to ensure my portrayal was convincing," he revealed.

'Shin-Irang' premieres on SBS at 9:50 PM on the 13th.
