IVE's Gaeul has secured another victory.

In the 8th episode of Netflix's daily variety show 'Death Game: Bet on a Million' (directed by Kwon Dae-hyun, produced by TEO), released on the 11th, IVE's Gaeul, who had previously defeated lawyer Yang Na-rae, faced off in a 1:1 brain game against YouTuber, film director, and survival program planner Jin Yong-jin.

The game, 'Truth's Peak', required players to reach the core of an incident using limited clues. Players narrowed down clues through yes/no questions and could use up to five hidden questions to declare the correct answer first, determining the winner.

Jin Yong-jin, known for his ability to understand the game's intent as a survival planner, confidently stated, "I write a lot of scenarios and am confident in storytelling. I'm worried I might solve it too quickly and run out of content." Meanwhile, Gaeul, who has honed her deduction skills by reading numerous mystery novels, expressed her confidence, saying, "Deduction is my favorite genre. I love 'Crime Scene' and usually get it right. I think I can guess well because I have a rich imagination."

The three-round 'Truth's Peak' featured an intense and imaginative deduction battle between Gaeul and Jin Yong-jin, captivating viewers. Commentator Jang Dong-min emphasized the importance of strategic questioning, stating, "The key to victory is eliminating possibilities one by one." Gaeul, who reached the crucial clue before her opponent, scored first, earning praise from Jang Dong-min, who said, "Gaeul is asking sharp questions. She's better than me," and called her a "prepared player."

Despite Jin Yong-jin's strong counterattack, Gaeul's brilliant final move secured her the win in the 8th episode. Commentator Park Sang-hyun and Jang Dong-min praised her, saying, "Gaeul's legend continues," and "A new star in the survival world is born." Jin Yong-jin also acknowledged his defeat, saying, "She has a rich imagination. I learned a lot."

With her second consecutive win and a total prize of 15 million won, Gaeul expressed her joy, saying, "It's like a dream to appear on a program in my favorite genre, and I'm happy to achieve two wins as an idol contestant." She plans to continue her winning streak. The next challenger, DinDin, is set to appear, sparking anticipation with his bold statement, "Why not just bring Jang Dong-min?" Viewers are eager to see if Gaeul can continue her winning streak or if a new winner will emerge.

Meanwhile, 'Death Game' is released every Wednesday at 5 PM on Netflix.
