Korean Singer Ko Woo-rim Moved to Tears by Pregnant Survivor's Story on 'The Story of That Day'
The episode airing on the 12th focuses on the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, highlighting the experiences of Koreans who survived the disaster. Joining Ko Woo-rim as listeners are actor Choi Jin-hyuk and singer Billie Tsuki.
On March 11, 2011, a massive 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck Japan, followed by a towering tsunami reaching up to 40 meters, leading to a nuclear disaster. Approximately 12,000 Korean students and residents were in the affected area at the time. 'The Story of That Day' features interviews with Korean survivors who recount their harrowing experiences.
Meanwhile, Choi Jin-hyuk offered heartfelt condolences to a Korean husband who clung to his wife as they were engulfed by the tsunami, surviving but left with lasting trauma. Tsuki expressed disbelief and sorrow, saying, "Even as time passes, it feels unbelievable and deeply missed," as she broke down in tears.
The poignant stories of survival amidst the catastrophic disaster will be featured on 'The Story of That Day,' airing at 10:20 PM, the day after the 15th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
