Actor Lee Dong-hwi Clarifies Viral 'Pumba Outfit' on TV Show

Actor Lee Dong-hwi recently addressed the buzz surrounding his 'Pumba outfit' that became a hot topic on a variety show.

On the October 11th episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' Lee Dong-hwi appeared as a guest. Host Yoo Jae-suk mentioned, "The 'Pumba outfit' you wore on 'I Live Alone' became a sensation. It's a blessing to capture the public's attention these days."

Previously, Lee Dong-hwi was seen on MBC's 'I Live Alone' during a trip to Busan with his close friend Code Kunst. He wore an oversized coat with a rough texture, prompting Jeon Hyun-moo to jokingly comment, "Isn't that a Pumba style?" The coat drew even more attention when it was revealed to be priced at 7 million won.

Lee Dong-hwi clarified, "Although it's an expensive coat, I didn't purchase it at the reported price of 7 million won." He explained, "I bought it for a quarter of that price. The store employee told me, 'This coat just arrived today, and there's only one left. It's very popular.'" He added, "While I was hesitating, they assured me 'Tax-refund Okay.' I wanted to try something special, so I bought it. I wouldn't have bought it at the full price."

Lee Dong-hwi's film 'Method Acting,' in which he stars and participates in production, is set to release on October 18th.
