Ha Jung-woo Returns to TV with 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea': A Tale of Struggle and Suspense
The new tvN weekend drama 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea' (hereafter referred to as 'Building Owner') is set to premiere on March 14th. The show has released still cuts capturing the chaotic day of Gi Soo-jong (played by Ha Jung-woo), a 'building owner by any means' who has leveraged everything to secure loans.
'Building Owner' depicts the suspenseful story of a debt-ridden building owner who gets involved in a fake kidnapping scheme to protect his family and building, which are more precious to him than life itself. This marks Ha Jung-woo's return to TV dramas after 19 years, heightening anticipation.
In the still cuts, Gi Soo-jong is far from the enviable 'perfect landlord' and leads a life filled with struggles. He rides a bicycle to his building, Seyoon Building, and personally unclogs a tenant's toilet. To pay off loan interest, he takes on various delivery jobs and engages in second-hand trading, living frugally and diligently.
Ha Jung-woo perfectly transforms into Gi Soo-jong, portraying the 'building owner by any means' with natural acting, raising expectations. As an ordinary family man pushed to the edge, his evolving character will drive the drama. Anticipation is high for Ha Jung-woo's performance in his comeback role, with excitement building for the premiere.
Ha Jung-woo's compelling performance can be seen from the front row at home when 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea' premieres on Saturday, March 14th, at 9:10 PM.
