Baek Jong-won Overcomes Makgeolli Bread Failure on 'Baek's Business Trip 3'
Baek Jong-won ambitiously introduced 'Makgeolli Bread' as a dessert menu, but it turned into a misfortune. Despite multiple practice attempts, he failed to make the Makgeolli bread successfully.
In a quick fix, the staff offered free coffee and complimentary chili pancakes. Baek emphasized, "We need to keep the customers engaged." However, the restaurant was quiet on the weekend evening, as most people came out to drink, while 'Hanpanjip' was more of a dining place.
On the fourth day, the sales were 1,775 euros (approximately $1,880) for lunch, but dropped by 30% to 1,097 euros (approximately $1,160) for dinner, totaling 2,872 euros (approximately $3,040).
Rising from failure, Baek showed his dedication to increasing sales by offering takeout, raising expectations for record-breaking sales.
Meanwhile, the next preview announced the return of 'Baking King' Yoon Si-yoon, who introduced 'Krungji', a pressed croissant. However, locals gave a harsh critique, saying, "It ruined the original taste of the croissant," sparking curiosity.
