SBS's New Drama 'Shin-Irang Law Office' Promises a Supernatural Legal Adventure

With just three days left until the grand opening of SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Shin-Irang Law Office,' an unusual first case is on the horizon. On his first day at work, Yoo Yeon-seok's character encounters a 'ghost client,' played by Heo Sung-tae, turning his world upside down.

'Shin-Irang Law Office' is a unique and heartwarming adventure where 'possessed lawyer' Shin-Irang, who resolves the grudges of the deceased, teams up with 'cold-blooded elite lawyer' Han Na-hyun, who stakes everything on winning cases.

The premiere on the 13th kicks off with Shin-Irang (Yoo Yeon-seok) opening his law office in room 501 of Okcheon Building after failing to join a major law firm. This decision unexpectedly opens the door to a new world. Starting his career in a place that was once a shaman's house, he begins to see the dead, and soon, his first ghost client appears.

The client is none other than Lee Kang-pung (Heo Sung-tae). While it's unclear what he wants from Shin-Irang, it's evident that he's not an ordinary presence. After their initial meeting at the office, Lee Kang-pung follows Shin-Irang to his mother Park Kyung-hwa's (Kim Mi-kyung) butcher shop and even to a church where Shin-Irang goes to pray for escape. Unable to shake off the persistent 'ghost client,' Shin-Irang eventually agrees to take on the case.

The released stills capture Shin-Irang as he dives into preparing for the case, determined to uncover the truth. He even goes undercover to investigate, marking the start of his first 'grudge-resolving defense.' However, as the trial begins, Lee Kang-pung's presence creates unpredictable situations, as he might even possess Shin-Irang. The mysterious first case promises to deliver supernatural thrills and satisfying resolutions, while also sparking curiosity about the hidden truths.

The production team stated, “The Lee Kang-pung case is the first story that opens the world of 'Shin-Irang Law Office.' It will show why Shin-Irang takes on cases involving the deceased and how he resolves them.” They added, “The unpredictable chemistry between Yoo Yeon-seok and Heo Sung-tae, along with the entertaining plot, will unfold at a spirited pace from the first episode, guaranteeing viewers a delightful experience.
