Hong Seok-cheon Prepares for His First Meeting with Daughter's In-Laws on 'Joseon's Love Match'

Hong Seok-cheon, 55, boards a train with his daughter for his first-ever meeting with her future in-laws.

In a preview clip of TV Chosun's variety show 'Joseon's Love Match,' airing on the 9th, Hong Seok-cheon is seen unusually nervous as he prepares for this significant meeting. While on the train with his daughter, he spills his coffee, unable to hide his anxiety. His daughter, who is soon to be married, tenderly cares for him, creating a heartwarming scene.

When his daughter asks, "Are you nervous?" Hong responds, "I haven't even seen a picture of them," expressing his apprehension. He adds, "They know me very well, but I don't know them. It feels like an audition," revealing his mixed feelings. His daughter empathizes, saying, "It's because they're going to be my in-laws. I'm nervous too."

In an interview with the production team, Hong Seok-cheon candidly shares, "They've probably never met someone like me before. I can't just think about myself." He admits, "I have to consider the perspective of those meeting me, which naturally makes me nervous," showing his genuine concern as a father.

After coming out in the past, Hong Seok-cheon adopted his divorced sister's two children, becoming their legal father. His unique experience as a father will be revealed on 'Joseon's Love Match,' airing at 10 PM.
