Jin Se-yeon and Park Ki-woong's Unexpected Kiss Sparks Excitement in 'Love Prescription'
On the evening of the 8th, KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'Love Prescription' aired episodes 11 and 12 consecutively at 8 PM, showcasing the deepening emotions between Gong Ju-ah (played by Jin Se-yeon) and Yang Hyun-bin (played by Park Ki-woong), along with a tumultuous family drama surrounding the Gong family's moving issues. The episodes achieved a viewership rating of 18.4% (provided by Nielsen Korea, nationwide household standard), marking a personal best and securing the top spot for weekend broadcasts, delivering thrilling entertainment to viewers.
In episode 11, Gong Jung-han (played by Kim Seung-soo) deliberately lost a coin toss decision about moving with Yang Dong-ik (played by Kim Hyung-mook). Yang Dong-ik couldn't hide his discomfort, and Gong Dae-han (played by Choi Dae-chul) expressed his frustration, unable to accept the result. However, Gong Jung-han's heartfelt decision, made for his younger brother who had always yielded to him, touched the audience deeply.
Meanwhile, the Yang family's support for the Gong family added intrigue. Yang Hyun-bin proposed a model contract for Taehan Group to Han Sung-mi (played by Yoo Ho-jung) with the bold condition of a lump-sum payment. Additionally, Yang Seon-chul (played by Joo Jin-mo) offered support by helping Na Sun-hae (played by Kim Mi-sook) with her pharmacy lease, creating a warm atmosphere.
At the end of episode 11, Yang Dong-ik received an offer to appear on a broadcast with Gong Jung-han. Yang Dong-ik urgently stopped Gong Jung-han, who was about to bid farewell to the hospital staff, heightening curiosity for the next episode.
In episode 12, Yang Dong-ik earnestly pleaded with Gong Jung-han not to move. To appear on a broadcast with the concept of 'half-century friendship,' they needed to remain as the president and vice president of the Onjeong Market Merchants Association. The contrasting atmosphere between Gong Jung-han's firm refusal and Yang Dong-ik's persistent pleading added to the drama's appeal.
Tensions flared once more between Gong Ju-ah and Yang Hyun-bin. The two clashed over differing opinions at work, engaging in a tense battle of wills. Subsequently, Gong Ju-ah boldly announced a blind date in front of Yang Hyun-bin, whose expression mixed with jealousy and frustration hinted at a new phase in their relationship, raising the tension.
The dynamic between Gong Dae-han and Yang Dong-sook (played by Jo Mi-ryung) took a turn. Sharing drinks and lamenting their situations, the two formed a peculiar bond, hinting at the start of a new romance as they drew closer, almost kissing.
At the end of the broadcast, Gong Ju-ah, thinking of Yang Hyun-bin during a blind date with her brother So-hye (played by Koo Ja-sung), ended up drunk and sought him out. The scene where Gong Ju-ah impulsively kissed Yang Hyun-bin, who then pulled her back for another kiss, left viewers thrilled and heightened anticipation for the next episode.
