'I Am Solo' Star Young-sook from Season 17 Announces May Wedding Plans
On November 6, Young-sook appeared on the YouTube channel 'Chonjang Entertainment TV' alongside her fiancé to personally share the exciting news of their upcoming wedding.
During the video, Young-sook unveiled her wedding invitation, announcing that the ceremony will take place on May 1. Previously, Young-sook had appeared on both the 17th season of 'I Am Solo' and 'Naso Four Seasons', where she showcased her straightforward nature but did not find a match.
Her first encounter with her fiancé was through a connection made in the 'I Am Solo' universe. Young-sook explained, "During my appearance on 'Naso Four Seasons', I became friends with Ok-soon from the 8th season, who introduced us through mutual acquaintances." She added, "My boyfriend had never watched 'I Am Solo'."
Young-sook highlighted her fiancé's appearance as his most attractive feature, saying, "I find him the most handsome. I was drawn to his looks from our first date. Our conversations are enjoyable, and time flies when we're together." Reflecting on her tendency to fall in love quickly, she noted, "I fall fast but stay committed for a long time. That hasn't changed. In the early stages of our relationship, he was more proactive."
While discussing her fiancé, Young-sook became emotional, revealing, "There was a time when I felt depressed and didn't leave the house. He was a great support during that period."
Born in 1992, Young-sook candidly discussed her plans for children with her fiancé, who is five years her senior. She expressed, "I definitely want to have two children," while her fiancé mentioned, "I'm fine with just the two of us." Young-sook added with a smile, "He said if I want children, we can have them, so I've decided to follow my heart."
Meanwhile, Young-sook previously introduced herself on the ENA and SBS Plus show 'I Am SOLO', stating, "I graduated from Korea University with a bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. in science and engineering. I work as a research professor, focusing on developing treatments for cancer patients."
