WEi's Kang Seok-hwa to Star in Musical '6 PM Off Work'
WEi member Kang Seok-hwa is set to appear in the musical '6 PM Off Work'. Before his debut, he participated in the survival programs 'YG Treasure Box' (2018) and 'Produce X 101' (2019).

Kang Seok-hwa has been cast in the role of 'Jang Bo-go' in the original musical '6 PM Off Work', which opens on May 1st at the Daehakro Yegrin Theater in Seoul.

'6 PM Off Work' tells the story of employees from the marketing team of the confectionery company 'Afternoon' who form an office band called '6 PM Off Work' to save their fading brand 'Autumn Moon Bread'. The musical is known for its live band performances, where actors play instruments, and its interactive curtain call with the audience.

In the musical, Jang Bo-go is a timid temporary employee who once dreamed of being a singer-songwriter. As the vocalist of the office band '6 PM Off Work', he rediscovers his dreams. As the main vocalist of WEi, Kang Seok-hwa is expected to showcase his powerful singing ability and strong stage presence.

Kang Seok-hwa previously demonstrated his stage prowess in the original musical 'Klimt: Into the Time of His Soul', where he played the role of 'Egon Schiele'. In '6 PM Off Work', he is anticipated to display even deeper musical capabilities, enhancing the audience's immersion.

The original musical '6 PM Off Work', featuring Kang Seok-hwa, will run from May 1st to July 26th at the Daehakro Yegrin Theater in Seoul.
