Actress Ji So-yeon Balances Busy Life as a Working Mom and Aspiring Skincare Specialist
On the upcoming episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Perfect Life,' airing at 8 PM on the 4th, actress Ji So-yeon, now a mother of three, will share her hectic life as a working mom.
After giving birth to twins last October, Ji So-yeon starts her day typing away on her laptop. MC Oh Ji-ho speculates, "It looks like she's watching YouTube," while comedian Lee Seong-mi notes, "Her hands are moving too much for just watching YouTube," sparking curiosity about her actions. The studio buzzes with excitement as an article reveals that Ji So-yeon achieved an annual sales milestone of 1 billion KRW and gifted her husband a dream car. Ji So-yeon shares, "I'm working in an advertising agency, juggling work and childcare without a break. I eat and work while the kids are asleep," updating on her life as a businesswoman.
Ji So-yeon surprises everyone by announcing her pursuit of a 'skincare specialist' certification. After finishing household chores, she dons a white gown and glasses, greeting a mannequin with, "Hello, this is Manager Ji from Geumho-dong." When Lee Seong-mi asks why the mannequin is lying down, Ji So-yeon explains, "It's a practice mannequin," adding, "I passed the written exam in a week, but balancing practical exam preparation with childcare is challenging, so I'm practicing at home." She shares her motivation, "Acting or running an advertising agency requires clients and opportunities, but I felt the need for a skill, which led me to this decision," earning admiration.
Meanwhile, Ji So-yeon recently apologized for posting a video of her trip to Japan ahead of Korea's March 1st Independence Movement Day. She acknowledged, "The video was content from a trip on February 11th, but I failed to consider the significance of the posting date. I sincerely apologize for not being more considerate," admitting her mistake. Following public criticism, the content has been made private.
