Unmissable Chemistry: Jinyoung and Kim Minju Shine in JTBC's New Series 'Shining'

The upcoming JTBC Friday series 'Shining', set to premiere on the 6th, features Jinyoung as Yeon Tae-seo and Kim Minju as Mo Eun-ah, offering hints about their characters' relationship and their on-screen chemistry, heightening anticipation for the first broadcast.

Jinyoung describes the relationship between Yeon Tae-seo and Mo Eun-ah as akin to light and distance, from their first meeting during their high school summer break to their reunion as adults. He explains, "It's a relationship where you can see the details of where the light is when they are together and apart, and how close or distant they are from each other."

Kim Minju adds intrigue by comparing their relationship to an old tree, saying, "Meeting during the purest time and leaving a deep impression on each other's hearts, living with those memories felt like a tree." This raises curiosity about the connection between Yeon Tae-seo (played by Jinyoung) and Mo Eun-ah (played by Kim Minju) as they meet, part, and reunite.

Additionally, attention is focused on the acting chemistry between Jinyoung and Kim Minju, who will portray the poignant connection between Yeon Tae-seo and Mo Eun-ah. Jinyoung shares, "From the start, Kim Minju felt like a friend who closely resembled Mo Eun-ah, and I felt that she saw me as Yeon Tae-seo while acting together," indicating strong teamwork. He humorously adds, "Our chemistry is definitely 100 points, please love 'Shining' a lot."

Kim Minju also hints at their unique chemistry, saying, "The process of creating new things while discussing on set was enjoyable. Because of that process, we were able to produce many good scenes." She also rates their chemistry as "100 points," increasing anticipation for the romance between Yeon Tae-seo and Mo Eun-ah.

'Shining' will premiere on the 6th at 8:50 PM, with the first and second episodes airing consecutively.
