Uhm Hyun-kyung Shines in New Drama 'Happy Our Good Day' as a Quirky AI Developer

Uhm Hyun-kyung is set to captivate audiences with her quirky charm in the upcoming drama 'Happy Our Good Day,' three years after marrying Cha Seo-won and becoming a mother. In this new project, Uhm will portray a 100% positive energy AI developer, bringing a lively spirit to the screen.

Scheduled to premiere in March on KBS 1TV, 'Happy Our Good Day' is a daily drama that revolves around a perfect man and a clumsy woman in a life-and-death battle. It's a melodramatic family series featuring various generations striving to be the 'main character of their own lives.'

Uhm Hyun-kyung will play Jo Eun-ae, a developer and co-CEO of the AI startup 'Lucky Joy,' showcasing her lovable charm. Jo Eun-ae is the daughter of Kang Yeon-ja (played by Kim Hye-ok) and Jo Sung-joon (played by Sunwoo Jae-duk), and she stands out with her human touch amidst her brilliant brother Jo Eun-hyung (played by Choi Sung-won) and medical student sister Jo Eun-nim (played by Kim Na-ri). Living with her unique optimistic attitude, Jo Eun-ae faces a turning point when her AI friend Joy is taken from her, leading her to cross paths with Go Gyeol (played by Yoon Jong-hoon), the strategic planning team leader at Kangsoo Construction.

In the released stills, Uhm Hyun-kyung vividly portrays Jo Eun-ae's complex emotions with a variety of expressions. Her bright smile exudes her unique liveliness, making viewers feel good, while her simple attire highlights her down-to-earth personality, enhancing the character's appeal.

In contrast, another still shows Uhm with a determined look and a shocked expression, hinting at an impending crisis. The challenges that disrupt her usually cheerful life and how she overcomes them already pique curiosity. Uhm Hyun-kyung's ability to seamlessly navigate emotional depths is expected to captivate viewers as she leads the tumultuous storyline of 'Happy Our Good Day.'

'Happy Our Good Day' is a collaboration between director Lee Jae-sang, known for his warm and detailed direction in 'Once Again' and 'Father is Strange,' and writer Nam Sun-hye, who showcased trendy writing in 'Our Suzy' and 'Amor Fati - Love Now.' The drama is set to premiere in March, following 'Marie and the Strange Dads.'
