Actress Koo Hye-sun has candidly revealed her struggle with a severe slump.

On the 27th, the YouTube channel 'Sebasi Lecture' featured a video titled "A Story Told for the First Time, Thoughts Koo Hye-sun Had Right After Jumping."

In the video, Koo Hye-sun shared, "There was a time when I was really struggling. I had thoughts of 'I really want to die,'" expressing the intense emotional pain she experienced.

She continued, "I was driving and saw a parachute falling in the distance. Someone was skydiving. On an impulse, I decided to try skydiving," she recalled.

"There were seven of us on the helicopter, and it felt like a gathering of people who all wanted to die," she said, shocking viewers.

At the edge of despair, Koo Hye-sun encountered a turning point. She realized something "the moment I jumped."

"Many parts of me wanted to live. The moment I jumped, I was saying 'I really want to live,'" she shared. "During those few seconds, until I touched the ground, I realized 'I'm not someone who wants to die.' All seven of us said, 'We're lucky to be alive.'"

Koo Hye-sun also shared her personal philosophy on life. She stated, "I truly believe that things happen as you believe. I think 'I need to believe in myself, not others, and become my own best friend.' In an unpredictable future, I might break again. You can rise and fall, break and stumble. I think, 'How new and beautiful could it be?'"
