Song Ji-hyo Receives Shocking Results from Her First Health Check-Up

Actress Song Ji-hyo recently received surprising results from her first-ever health check-up.

On the 26th, a video titled 'Shocking Results from Song Ji-hyo's First Health Check-Up' was uploaded to her YouTube channel.

In the video, Song Ji-hyo visits a medical center, revealing, "This is my first health check-up ever. I was so nervous that I barely slept." She confessed that the process of taking the bowel cleansing solution for the colonoscopy was the most challenging part, saying, "Taking the medication was really tough. I didn't know the tricks, so I adjusted my diet a week in advance, and now I have no energy. I don't think I can do this twice," she laughed. After changing into a hospital gown, she expressed her discomfort, saying, "I really feel like a patient," showing her nervousness.

Song Ji-hyo underwent a comprehensive examination, including basic tests like vision, waist circumference, and body composition, as well as blood tests, ultrasounds, and both gastroscopy and colonoscopy. Despite her ongoing nervousness, the doctor assured her that the results of the upper abdominal ultrasound and liver elasticity test showed no significant issues with major organs like the liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and kidneys, stating, "There are no findings, not even a speck." The carotid artery ultrasound also came back clean, and the gastroscopy revealed only mild gastritis with no major concerns.

However, a 5mm polyp was found during the colonoscopy and was immediately removed. When Song Ji-hyo expressed concern, asking, "Isn't 5mm big?" the doctor explained, "It's not particularly large, and its shape isn't bad, but it could potentially become a cancer risk factor in the future, so we removed it as a precaution." The biopsy results are pending, but there are currently no major concerns.

After completing all the tests, Song Ji-hyo commented, "Considering my irregular lifestyle and eating habits, the results seem good, so I'm happy," but added, "I realize I need to take better care of my health in the future. I hope everyone takes care of their health too."

Meanwhile, Song Ji-hyo has been actively working in both dramas and variety shows since her debut in 2001.
