Choo Shin-soo Announces Major Lineup Changes for Final Game on 'Baseball Queen'
In the 14th episode of Channel A's sports entertainment show 'Baseball Queen', airing on the 24th, the Black Queens, with a record of 4 wins and 3 losses, face off against the 'powerhouse lineup' Heroines in the final 8th match.
During the pre-game lineup announcement, Coach Choo Shin-soo reveals, “There was a significant clash of opinions with coaches Lee Dae-hyung and Yoon Seok-min when forming this lineup,” adding, “After much deliberation, I made a tough decision.” In a surprising move, Coach Choo names first baseman Park Ha-yan as the 'leadoff' batter. He explains, “Park Ha-yan has been working really hard and showed a strong desire to improve her skills.” Despite previous struggles with batting, Park Ha-yan expresses confidence, saying, “I've practiced hard, and I think I can show a better performance in this match.”
On the other hand, 'Track Star Karina' Kim Min-ji is shocked as she loses her spot as the first batter and her regular position as center fielder. Excluded from the starting lineup due to the coaching staff's assessment that “her batting condition has declined, making it difficult to utilize her strengths,” Kim Min-ji admits, “I'm in shock, and my mental state is shattered,” freezing on the spot.
Additionally, legendary Tigers pitcher Yang Hyun-jong makes a surprise appearance at the 8th match, astonishing everyone. However, 'Baseball Novice' Song-a humorously admits she thought Yang was a PPL representative, bringing laughter to the scene. In a cheerful atmosphere, Yang warmly encourages, “I have high expectations for my friend Kim On-a, and I hope she finishes strong without injuries.”
The final baseball journey of the Black Queens against the Heroines can be seen in the 14th episode of Channel A's 'Baseball Queen', airing at 10 PM on the 24th.
