In the 8th episode of KBS 2TV's weekend drama 'Love Prescription', aired on the 22nd, Yang Hyun-bin (played by Park Ki-woong) couldn't hide his true feelings for Gong Joo-ah (played by Jin Se-yeon). The episode also depicted the chaotic aftermath in the Gong and Yang families due to a family member's return after an affair. The episode achieved a nationwide viewership rating of 17.7% (provided by Nielsen Korea), securing the top spot among weekend broadcasts.

Han Sung-mi (played by Yoo Ho-jung) showcased her quick thinking by preventing Yang Dong-sook (played by Jo Mi-ryung) and her group from witnessing Min Yong-gil's (played by Kwon Hae-sung) affair. This act brought both tension and relief to the Yang family. Meanwhile, Na Sun-hae (played by Kim Mi-sook) confronted her daughter-in-law Lee Hee-kyung (played by Kim Bo-jung). Feeling devastated by her brazen attitude, Na Sun-hae urged her to get a divorce to resolve the situation.

Meanwhile, the relationship between Gong Joo-ah and Yang Hyun-bin took an intriguing turn. When Hwang Bo-hye-soo (played by Kang Byul) encouraged an office romance, Yang Hyun-bin drew a line by saying they were just friends, leaving Gong Joo-ah feeling somewhat disappointed. However, Gong Joo-ah soon expressed her affectionate pride towards Yang Hyun-bin, saying, "You've grown up well," creating a warm atmosphere.

Elsewhere, Yang Dong-ik's (played by Kim Hyung-mook) inferiority complex towards Gong Jung-han (played by Kim Seung-soo) exploded. Yang Dong-ik witnessed Hwang, a key figure in the local district he was courting, meeting with Gong Jung-han. He vented his long-standing frustration to his wife Cha Se-ri (played by So Yi-hyun), saying, "His target is me." The rivalry between the two, ignited by the merchants' association election, reached its peak.

Meanwhile, under Na Sun-hae's pressure, Lee Hee-kyung and Min Yong-gil returned to their respective homes with a defiant attitude. Lee Hee-kyung shamelessly confronted her husband Gong Dae-han (played by Choi Dae-chul), claiming love isn't a crime, leading Gong Dae-han to decide on a divorce. On the other hand, Min Yong-gil demanded a divorce after returning stolen luxury goods and money, but Yang Dong-sook refused, setting the stage for the contrasting paths of the two families and raising curiosity about the ensuing aftermath.

At that time, Gong Joo-ah continued working late at Yang Hyun-bin's office. She prepared a meal for him, and he showed his care by driving her home, creating a sweet atmosphere. The turning point in their relationship came with Yang Hyun-bin's jealousy. When Gong Joo-ah decided to go on a blind date suggested by Kim So-hye (played by Jung Ye-seo), Yang Hyun-bin, unable to bear it, followed her to the date location.

Towards the end of the episode, Yang Hyun-bin confessed his hidden feelings to Gong Joo-ah. Mistaken about the date of the blind date, he admitted, "If it were today, I would have broken it up. I don't like it." The romantic atmosphere was short-lived as they witnessed Lee Hee-kyung and Min Yong-gil's affectionate display nearby. The situation escalated with the appearance of Yang Dong-sook, who was searching for her husband's affair partner, leading to a tense climax. The episode concluded with Gong Joo-ah and Yang Hyun-bin in shock and disbelief.
