Shocking Heist: Hong Geum-bo and Albert Oh Successfully Steal $100 Million Slush Fund in 'Undercover Miss Hong'
The episode showcased Hong Geum-bo's determination to protect the employees of Hanmin Securities by securing the slush fund's accounting ledger and launching a full-scale operation.
Hong Geum-bo, along with Go Bok-hee (played by Ha Yoon-kyung), Albert Oh, and Lee Yong-gi (played by Jang Do-ha), declared their intent to secure the slush fund, citing the lack of investigative will from the Financial Supervisory Service and external threats targeting Hanmin Securities.
They devised a scheme to lure the fund manager, Oh Deok-gyu (played by Kim Hyung-mook), by spreading false rumors of an old currency exchange scam.
Oh Deok-gyu, enticed by the promise of a 50% commission, secretly gathered $100 million and appeared at the designated location, only to find the box filled with cold bricks instead of new bills.
Following the successful heist, Hong Geum-bo pressured Oh Deok-gyu into selling his shares, leaving him with just 'one share.' Effectively, Hong Geum-bo seized both the $100 million slush fund and the management rights. The episode concluded with Kang Chae-young (played by Kim Mi-sook) regaining consciousness, and Hong Geum-bo shedding tears of joy with Go Bok-hee and Kang No-ra (played by Choi Soo-ji), heightening anticipation for future developments.
