Choi Yeo-jin Addresses Marriage Rumors and Clarifies Misunderstandings

Choi Yeo-jin has openly addressed and clarified various rumors, including those of infidelity, that arose following her marriage.

On the 19th, the YouTube channel 'Mibji-aneun Gwanjong-eonni' posted a video titled 'Lee Ji-hye Faints: The Reason Behind Jo Hye-ryun's Successful Remarriage at 57, Living Like Newlyweds.' The video featured Lee Ji-hye, Jo Hye-ryun, and Choi Yeo-jin.

Choi Yeo-jin, who once posed for a daring lingerie photoshoot, explained her reason as "having no one to show her beautiful body to." When asked if there truly was no one, she replied, "I haven't had a boyfriend in a long time. I've been working too much," adding, "I tend to fall deeply for someone when I like them, so I can't let myself fall."

Lee Ji-hye mentioned, "There was a lot of buzz during the wedding." Choi Yeo-jin, who is in her first marriage while her husband is in his second, faced rumors of infidelity, involvement in a cult, and being a chaebol heir. Choi commented, "I expected some rumors, but some people went too far, beyond the line." She continued, "I hope that by overcoming these challenges and showing a happy life, people will support us. Many already do." Jo Hye-ryun added, "As Yeo-jin and her husband live well and time passes, people will realize 'it wasn't true.'"

Regarding the cult involvement rumor, Choi Yeo-jin explained, "My husband's business name coincidentally matches the name of a religious group in Gapyeong." She further explained, "They even called us, asking us to clarify that it's not true because they were experiencing damage."

On the chaebol heir rumor, she said, "It might be partly due to his hairstyle." She also speculated that attending the Yeouido fireworks festival and being seen with an umbrella bearing a corporate logo contributed to the rumors. The participants confirmed that Choi Yeo-jin's husband is not a chaebol heir.

Addressing the infidelity rumors, Choi Yeo-jin stated, "It might be because of a previous broadcast. We never lived in the same house. His ex-wife is a year younger than me. I always used honorifics and called her 'manager,' while she called me 'sister.' However, we don't keep in touch or chat. I didn't steal anyone's husband." She explained that she fell in love with her husband after spending a long time exercising together through the seasons, and their relationship turned romantic well after both were divorced.
