Actor Yoon Da-hoon, who left KBS's 'Living Together' last August after five months, has announced his return to the screen with a new drama. This marks his first drama in two years since 'Our Sweet Days.' Yoon previously made headlines by revealing he is a single father on a variety show.

Premiering in March, KBS1's new daily drama 'Our Happy Days' will depict a high-stakes battle between a seemingly perfect man and a clumsy woman, while exploring the stories of various generations striving to be the 'main character of their own lives.'

Directed by Lee Jae-sang, known for his warm and detailed storytelling in 'Once Again' and 'Father is Strange,' and written by Nam Sun-hye, who penned 'Our Sweet Days' and 'Amor Fati - Love, Now,' the drama boasts a strong lineup. The main cast includes Yoon Jong-hoon as Go Kyul, Uhm Hyun-kyung as Jo Eun-ae, Jung Yoon as Go Min-ho, and Yoon Da-young as Seo Seung-ri. Joining them are Kim Hye-ok, Sunwoo Jae-duk, Yoon Da-hoon, Moon Hee-kyung, Lee Sang-sook, Jung Ho-bin, Lee Ho-jae, and Jung Young-sook, adding depth to the series.

Yoon Da-hoon plays Go Dae-chi, the president of Kangsu Construction and father to Go Kyul and Go Min-ho. Despite his bold personality, he becomes meek in front of his father, Chairman Go Kang-su (played by Lee Ho-jae). He is particularly troubled by the prospect of competing with his sons for succession.

Moon Hee-kyung portrays Eun Soo-jung, Go Dae-chi's wife and a naive wealthy housewife. She is especially fond of her eldest son, Go Min-ho, and is anxious about Go Kyul, who returns to Korea after 10 years, potentially taking Min-ho's place as successor.

Kim Hye-ok and Sunwoo Jae-duk play Kang Yeon-ja and Jo Sung-joon, parents to Jo Eun-ae, Jo Eun-hyung (Choi Sung-won), and Jo Eun-nim (Kim Na-ri), representing an ordinary family. Kang Yeon-ja is a responsible real estate agent who has acquired various certifications to support her family. Despite her strong will and sociability, she harbors a hidden emotional scar.

Jo Sung-joon, Yeon-ja's husband, was once an executive at a major corporation but lost his job due to restructuring, a fact he keeps secret from his family. While seeking reemployment through various temporary jobs, he receives an unexpected offer from his high school friend, Go Dae-chi (played by Yoon Da-hoon).

Lee Sang-sook plays Yoo Jung-ran, a housewife and mother to Seo Seung-ri. Grateful to Chairman Go Kang-su for his help during her family's financial struggles, she hopes her daughter will marry Go Min-ho and become the group's matriarch.

Jung Ho-bin takes on the role of Seo Kwon-sik, Yoo Jung-ran's husband and Seo Seung-ri's father. As the chief secretary of Kangsu Group, he works closely under Go Dae-chi, his high school friend. Although he is close to Go Kyul, the start of the succession race reveals his hidden ambitions, adding tension to the story.

Lee Ho-jae anchors the drama as Chairman Go Kang-su, who initiates the succession race. Diagnosed with terminal cancer, he refuses treatment to focus on finding a new leader for the group and repaying a debt to his wife, Lee Young-hwa (played by Jung Young-sook).

Jung Young-sook plays Lee Young-hwa, Go Kang-su's second wife, who remains by his side despite not being fully accepted by her stepchildren. Only her grandson, Go Kyul, regards her as a true grandmother. The intricate relationships and family dynamics promise to weave a compelling narrative.

'Our Happy Days' will premiere in March, following 'Marie and the Strange Dads.'
