Choi Hyun-wook Shares Humorous Anecdote from 'After School Teacher Taeri'

Choi Hyun-wook, appearing on 'After School Teacher Taeri,' candidly shared a humorous story about being scolded by children, drawing attention.

On the 20th, an online press conference for tvN's new variety show 'After School Teacher Taeri' was held. Attendees included PDs Park Ji-ye and Hwang Seul-woo, along with cast members Kim Tae-ri, Choi Hyun-wook, Kangnam, and Code Kunst.

'After School Teacher Taeri' is a reality show capturing a unique after-school theater class at a small village elementary school. Kim Tae-ri takes on the role of the theater class teacher, with Choi Hyun-wook and Kangnam as assistant teachers. Code Kunst participates as the music director for the theater stage.

When asked about any crises during filming, Code Kunst remarked, "I never consider anything a crisis. Reflecting on why, I realized it was because I felt Taeri and Hyun-wook were the main figures of this program. If 'Cocoon Teacher' were the main, I wonder if I could have viewed things as generously as I do now. It would have been a different story. Having trust allowed me to handle things more calmly."

PD Hwang Seul-woo smiled, saying, "Unexpectedly, the four of them ended up living together, sharing meals and a home, which naturally led to a lot of chemistry." He added, "In terms of classes and theater, there were moments when Hyun-wook was scolded by the kids. Those moments might have been crises, but the diverse chemistry and charm were incredibly entertaining."

Choi Hyun-wook recalled, "I realized how smart the kids are. As a teacher, I had to set an example. I thought I was doing my best, but one kid came up and really scolded me."

'After School Teacher Taeri' premieres on the 22nd at 7:40 PM on tvN.
