Disney+'s original series 'Made in Korea' (MEINKO) has proven its global appeal by becoming the most-watched Korean original content on Disney+ worldwide in 2025. Despite some controversy over actor Jung Woo-sung's performance, the series has been breaking records, becoming the most-watched in Korea within 14 days of its release.

According to Disney+'s official metrics, 'Made in Korea' has topped the list as the most-watched Korean original content released on Disney+ in 2025, globally, within 48 days of its release. Set in the tumultuous yet transformative 1970s in South Korea, the series follows Baek Ki-tae (played by Hyun Bin), a man aiming to reach the pinnacle of wealth and power by using the nation as a business model, and prosecutor Jang Gun-young (played by Jung Woo-sung), who relentlessly pursues him. 'Made in Korea' had already claimed the title of the most-watched Korean original on Disney+ in Korea and the Asia-Pacific region, and now it continues its unstoppable global success.

Even 48 days post-release, the series continues to receive rave reviews with comments like, "This drama outshines all the movies released this year," "My parents and I have been praising Hyun Bin all week, calling him the Korean Tom Hardy," "A crazy drama that came to kill me... insane brothers," and "It feels like the best noir scene in Korean cinema since 'New World'."
