Noh Sang-hyun Captivates Audiences with Dual Charm in '21st Century Grand Duchess'
In episodes 3 and 4 of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama '21st Century Grand Duchess,' aired on the 17th and 18th, Noh Sang-hyun immersed viewers by playing the character 'Min Jung-woo,' who embodies both warmth and coldness.
Seong Hee-joo (played by IU) decided to marry Grand Duke Ian (played by Byun Woo-seok) and asked Jung-woo for his blessing. Jung-woo visited the cathedral and confessed, "I prayed for forgiveness. I don't feel like celebrating," yet he recalled his past self who supported Hee-joo's choices, sparking curiosity about his future actions.
Jung-woo amplified his charm with his human side. To fulfill the young King Lee Yoon's (played by Kim Eun-ho) wish, he spent time playing various games at the residence. The cheerful atmosphere was short-lived as a sudden car accident plunged them into chaos, heightening the tension.
Noh Sang-hyun portrayed the dual charm of 'Min Jung-woo,' who hides his affection for Hee-joo behind his strict adherence to principles, with captivating acting. He convincingly conveyed Min Jung-woo's complex emotions as he struggled between responsibility and feelings, adding depth to the character.
MBC's drama '21st Century Grand Duchess,' featuring Noh Sang-hyun, airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
