Actress Lee Joo-yeon Makes Special Appearance in Netflix Series 'Lady Dua'
Lee Joo-yeon appeared as the character Gemma in the series 'Lady Dua', which was released on the 13th. In the show, Gemma is portrayed as a woman working in a bar who advises the protagonist, played by Shin Hye-sun (as Sara Kim), on how to change her identity by finding a 'pushover'. This advice helps Shin Hye-sun's character successfully deceive Hong Sung-shin, played by Jung Jin-young.
Lee Joo-yeon has built a diverse filmography with roles in dramas such as 'Smile Again', 'The Rich Son', and Disney+ original 'Kiss Sixth Sense', as well as films like 'Immortal Goddess' and 'Kim~chi!'.
In the upcoming film 'Kim~chi!', set to release on March 25, she portrays the struggles of a novice female photographer named Min-kyung, showcasing a unique charm. Her acting skills were recognized when she won the Blue Ribbon Acting Award at the '15th Chungmuro Short Film Festival' held last November.
