SBS's New Drama 'Shin-I-Rang Law Office' Unveils Key Moment Before Yu Yeon-seok's Transformation
Set to premiere on November 13, 'Shin-I-Rang Law Office' is a unique and heartwarming adventure where the 'possessed lawyer' Shin-I-Rang, who resolves the grudges of the deceased, teams up with the 'cold-blooded elite lawyer' Han Na-hyun, who stakes everything on winning cases. The first teaser video, released last week, showed Shin-I-Rang (played by Yu Yeon-seok) transforming into a 'blushing' version of himself when possessed, sparking interest. The stills released today (18th) capture the moment 'one second before' all these changes, drawing attention.
Shin-I-Rang is seen sitting in his newly opened law office. With a neat suit, an orderly desk, and a clearly engraved nameplate reading 'Lawyer Shin-I-Rang,' it appears no different from any other lawyer's office in Seocho-dong at first glance. However, a closer look reveals something different. The oddly antique furniture and decorations, along with the interior steeped in the aura of time, create a sense of dissonance with the typical image of a law office.
Room 501 of the Okcheon Building, where Shin-I-Rang is based, was once used as a shaman's house. At the center of it all is a mysterious incense burner. Shin-I-Rang's eyes sparkle with pure curiosity as he carefully unwraps the unfamiliar object wrapped in packaging. Just before lighting the incense, he is unaware of the events about to unfold. Yet, the seemingly insignificant act of lighting the incense propels his life as a lawyer onto a completely different trajectory. From then on, he begins to see entities, hear stories of injustice, and face an unavoidable destiny, all starting from this very desk.
Previously, Shin-I-Rang's first client, played by Heo Sung-tae, was revealed. Anticipation builds as viewers wonder what kind of case will arise from the first meeting between the special client and the 'possessed lawyer.' Additionally, curiosity is piqued about the other characters who will appear before Shin-I-Rang to unravel their intertwined grudges.
The production team stated, "Room 501 of the Okcheon Building is not just an office, but a boundary where Shin-I-Rang's world is turned upside down," adding, "Yu Yeon-seok's portrayal of the 'curious eyes of a moment knowing nothing' and the subsequent transformation will provide great entertainment."
SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Shin-I-Rang Law Office' premieres on November 13 at 9:50 PM.
