Han Ji-min Stars in New JTBC Drama 'Efficient Meeting of Singles' with Park Sung-hoon

Actress Han Ji-min is set to create romantic sparks with actor Park Sung-hoon in the upcoming JTBC drama 'Efficient Meeting of Singles.'

The new weekend drama, premiering on October 28, has released a highlight video teasing a sweet yet spicy love triangle involving Lee Yi-young (played by Han Ji-min), Song Tae-seop (played by Park Sung-hoon), and Shin Ji-soo (played by Lee Ki-taek).

The highlight video begins with Lee Yi-young's flawless work routine, only to reveal her struggles in romance when someone remarks, "You don't have a boyfriend, do you?" Her mother's comment about not attending weddings due to unlikely returns on wedding gifts, her boss's remark about having nothing but work without a relationship, and her friend's criticism of her preference for natural meetings all add to her emotional turmoil.

In an attempt to change her situation, Lee Yi-young opts for blind dates, only to find that artificial meetings are equally challenging. From a man who eats more than he asks about her eating habits, to another who declares her "girlfriend material" by tapping the table, and a third who suddenly calls her his muse during a walk, the parade of diverse suitors quickly exhausts her.

Just as she's about to give up on blind dates, two unexpected men enter her life, reigniting her hope. Song Tae-seop, who introduces himself as the owner of a woodworking studio called HOME, impresses her with his statement that he doesn't measure efficiency in things he loves, and his direct question about agreeing to a relationship with marriage in mind leaves her heart fluttering.

In contrast, theater actor Shin Ji-soo captivates with his free-spirited lifestyle. He spontaneously invites Lee Yi-young for drinks and offers her a thrilling ride on his motorcycle, providing her with an exhilarating experience. His unpredictable charm brings an unexpected thrill to Lee Yi-young.

The encounter between these two contrasting personalities leaves a strong impression. A fiery tension arises when Song Tae-seop casually mentions kissing Lee Yi-young in front of Shin Ji-soo, who provocatively calls him a coward.

'Efficient Meeting of Singles' is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name by author Tari and will air its first episode on October 28 at 10:40 PM.
