Actor Kim Kwang-kyu Eyes Trot Singer Debut on 'Legend of the Unknown'

Actor Kim Kwang-kyu is set to reveal his aspirations to debut as a trot singer on the show 'Legend of the Unknown - The Rank War of Trot Men' (hereafter referred to as 'Legend of the Unknown').

On the morning of the 18th, the production team of MBN's audition program 'Legend of the Unknown' unveiled the winner's rewards through their official social media channels. The grand prize includes a cash reward of 100 million won, a nationwide tour concert, music release, a cruise fan meeting, and even a movie featuring the winner as the main character, along with a second house in Jeju Island.

During the first recording, the revelation of these life-changing rewards prompted judge Kang Moon-kyung to express regret, saying, "I should have participated," while Kim Kwang-kyu, upon hearing about the movie reward, remarked, "The film market is tough these days. Who would make me the lead? I want to join the contestants," indicating his interest in competing.

'Legend of the Unknown' has recently released teasers featuring 99 contestants and a preview of the first episode, garnering significant attention. The contestants, who boast captivating visuals, charm, and star quality, have already sparked a competitive wave of fan support.

Meanwhile, 'Legend of the Unknown' is a grand-scale trot survival show where 99 contestants vie for the ultimate throne, putting everything on the line. The show is set to premiere on the 25th at 9:40 PM.
