Comedian Kim Young-hee Reflects on Her Career and Life's Timing on 'Malja Show'
The episode of KBS2's 'Malja Show' that aired on the 6th was themed 'Timing in Life'. During the show, a concern was raised: "They say life is about timing, but it seems like the worst moments always come to me. Can my life ever bloom?"
Host Kim Young-hee confessed that her life has been a series of mistimed events. She began by saying, "Some people think I debuted with 'Debate of Two' on 'Gag Concert', but the journey up to that point was a series of mistimed events." She continued, "Before becoming a KBS comedian, I was selected as the first public recruit for OBS. However, the network didn't create a comedy program, so I took the MBC comedian exam again and passed."
Kim Young-hee also credited her colleague Jung Beom-kyun as a major influence in her current success. She said, "Although there was a long period of monotony, I was able to return thanks to Jung Beom-kyun." She added, "Meeting Jung Beom-kyun, who helped suppress my anger whenever I wanted to quit, was the best timing in my life."
