Singer Eun Ga-eun Returns to Radio Show Six Weeks After Giving Birth

Singer Eun Ga-eun has made her return to broadcasting just six weeks after giving birth.

On the 6th, Eun Ga-eun returned as the DJ for KBS Happy FM's 'Eun Ga-eun's Shining Trot'. After taking a short maternity leave, she is back on air.

Eun Ga-eun married fellow singer Park Hyun-ho, who is five years her junior, in April last year and welcomed a daughter in February this year. During the broadcast, Eun Ga-eun appeared with slightly fuller cheeks, indicating some post-pregnancy swelling.

Eun Ga-eun candidly shared about her physical condition before and after childbirth. She revealed, "I gained a total of 18kg during pregnancy until before giving birth. However, after delivery, I lost 8kg, leaving 10kg still to lose." She added, "People say I look like I've lost a lot, but that's not true. My clothes don't fit," and vowed, "I'll work hard to lose it while working."

Eun Ga-eun also recounted her childbirth experience. She said, "When the baby was in my belly, the doctor said the amniotic fluid was clean, and the baby was born really clean." She reminisced, "The baby was born looking as if she had been washed for days, without any swelling, and beautifully."

Although Eun Ga-eun hoped for a natural birth, she faced an unexpected delivery process. She explained, "I dreamed of a natural birth but after enduring 6-7 hours of labor, I couldn't take it anymore and had an emergency C-section." She continued, "When they opened me up, they found the baby wasn't even trying to come down and was just playing around. It was all a blur due to the emergency."

Her daughter is said to resemble her father, Park Hyun-ho, more. Eun Ga-eun shared, "Many people say she looks just like her dad. Nurses and postpartum care staff also commented that she resembles her father. I think so too, but her lips and forehead seem to resemble mine."
