KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' Reveals Haru's First Birthday Celebration

The latest episode of KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' will feature Haru's first birthday celebration.

Airing today (18th), the 609th episode titled 'Day by Day, Already a Year' will be hosted by MC Kim Jong-min and Lalal. The episode will showcase Haru's first birthday party, with the highlight being the traditional Korean 'doljabi' ceremony, where viewers are eager to see what Haru will choose.

On the doljabi table, various items such as a stethoscope, thread, money, microphone, judge's gavel, pencil, employee ID, and noodles are placed. Each family member has their own hopes for Haru's choice. Haru's mother Saya expressed, "I was a company employee, so I hope Haru picks the employee ID," while father Shim Hyung-tak revealed, "For me, it's definitely the microphone." Haru's grandfather from Japan placed 120-year-old traditional noodles on the table, hoping Haru will continue the family business as the fourth-generation successor.

As the family encourages, "Haru, pick one," Haru's big eyes sparkle as she examines each item, hesitating and teasing the guests with her choices. Her playful demeanor captivates the audience, showcasing her budding star quality. When Haru finally makes her choice, cheers and applause erupt. Her selection brings a smile to both her parents, who had different hopes for the doljabi outcome.
