Park Sung-mi shared why she left her singing career and moved to the countryside. She said, "This is my final home," explaining that she got involved in a financial club started by her favorite singer, Hye Eun-i. "I took on two or three accounts, but as I helped out a struggling friend, things got tough when she moved to Japan," she explained.

"I should have stopped there, but I took out loans from secondary financial institutions, and the compounded interest piled up," she continued, eventually losing several apartments.

Park revealed that she did nothing for ten years due to depression, stating, "I didn't turn on the TV for 20 years, especially avoiding music programs," expressing the guilt she felt as a singer.

Her guilt was also tied to the 1991 Daegu Frog Boys case. Deeply affected, she traveled nationwide with the parents of the missing children, carrying a song she wrote and composed herself, hoping it might help bring the children back.

Park recalled, "I only hoped that if the kidnappers heard my song, they might return the children to their parents."

She later visited Daegu's Waryong Mountain to meet Woo Jung-woo, the father of the late Woo Chul-won. Woo expressed, "I always felt sorry for someone who should have lived a glamorous life as a singer, helping us search for the children."

Park responded, "Chul-won's father always felt sorry, but having someone like him made it not a hardship but something I wanted to do."

Life in the countryside has "improved a lot," and "I have more peace of mind," she said. Once a singer on stage, Park now finds happiness in the simplicity of everyday life, leaving a lasting impression on viewers.
